たまたま adventure just around the corner でググったら出会いました。引用の中の just around the corner というのは「(場所や時間が)近い」という慣用表現です。

例えば、
Summer is just around the corner.
(もうすぐ夏です)
のように使います。
ただ冒頭の引用では、corner を「曲がり角」と直訳して、「今までずっと、曲がり角を曲がればいつでもすぐに冒険に出会えた。そして、世界は今も曲がり角にあふれている」と訳すほうがオモシロイかもしれません。
英語の大学入試問題を読んでいると、知らないことにもちょくちょく出会って、ページをめくるだけで、まさに冒険しているような気分になります。だから英文を読むのはチャレンジングなのですが、毎日毎回、新鮮です！
