How to Tune In to Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 from Japan

If you’re a big fan of American pop songs, I recommend listening to Rick Dees Weekly Top 40.

This radio program used to air on AFN Radio but was recently discontinued there. However, you can still tune in via Capital FM, a station based in Kenya.

My lovely wife missed the program after it was dropped from AFN Radio, so I searched online and discovered that Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 is broadcast from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays in Kenya, which is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays in Japan.

Full disclosure: While I don’t personally listen to this program, my wife says that Rick Dees has a great sense of humor and is fun to listen to.

As of January 2025, you can still enjoy Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 every Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Japan on Capital FM. Happy listening!
